An exploration of the emotional landscape between two friends in a Capitol Heights basement.
Originally the first film Jennifer ever made for film school, Lovely has now been screened at the Philadelphia Film Center for their first ever POV Showcase, and became a quarter-finalist at the Serbest International Film Festival, both in 2023. Jennifer credits this film as the inspiration behind two of the main characters in PANCIT, Jazzy and Journey.
